Ocellaris Clownfish
Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris )
The Ocellaris Clownfish is one of the most popular marine fish in the aquarium industry, instantly recognizable by its vibrant orange body adorned with distinctive white bands outlined in black. The Ocellaris Misbar variant features incomplete or broken bands, while the Extreme Misbars may have very few bars, sometimes appearing only on one side of the fish’s body. One of the key advantages of the Ocellaris Clownfish is its hardiness, particularly when compared to wild-caught species. Accustomed to the conditions of home aquariums, it is an excellent choice for both novice and experienced aquarists. Ocellaris Clownfish can also coexist with a variety of other clownfish if they are introduced into the aquarium at the same time. Breeding the Ocellaris Clownfish in a home aquarium is relatively straightforward.
